Boston has more snow on the ground than I've ever seen here. The city was incapacitated for the entire weekend, and today's classes were cancelled. My roommate's working remote the living room, but I'm going to the coffee shop to do some writing.
"Stay here," he'll say. "It's not worth going to Starbucks."
Too bad, Dave; I haven't had coffee in two days and I'm starting to get a little stircrazy -- from the lack of caffeine. Being in this apartment for almost forty-eight hours solid has worn away my ability to buffer the normally-mild irritations of living here, too.

Once over the course of a couple days I made a friend of mine a complete dining room set out of paper. First I made a table, then four chairs. Then I made a centerpiece, a little vase with a flower in it. Then I made a plate with a chicken on it, then a man and a woman to sit in the chairs and eat the chicken. If you give me enough time at a desk, I guess I'll just start making origami dioramas.
