Went to see cake last night.
The singer is one dry guy.
Some people say you can't, but I had mine and ate it.
Tsk! People eh! What do they know?
Its totally refreshing to be kept on your toes mentally
for a full hour and a half.
Recommended music for anyone who has ever worn a T shirt,
Walking Concert (Walter Whatsisnanme from Rival Schools/Quicksand's new band) - Run to be Born
M83 - Before The Dawn Heals US
LCD Soundsystem - LCD Soundsystem
Ive been losing my edge for some time now but this record exceeds all expectations.
So, whats your new thing?

tom waits, eh? i actually had two people i work with tell me the other day that i looked like - mark lanegan.
i want that LCD soundsystem very badly - and i'm intrigued by this Rival Schools dude's new thing. that was a pretty underrated record, that Rival Schools... they were good live, too.
i am seeing the Secret Mafuckingchines tomorrow night and i can't wait...
and speaking of machines, the show was good... but not great. they sounded great, the lights were blinding, and the drummer was fucking awesome, but -
the set was rather short, and was filled up with much new material that seemed too drifty/dirgey for me... thus they missed playing some songs from the record i'd been really looking forward to. on the whole, it was a good time, though.
