Phew!
I'm back.
Had a great weekend, pigged out on food and booze for most of it.
There was a party Saturday with a ton of Mexican style food prepared by my girl.
The guacamole was particularly good. I made that, he he.
Oooooo! I made some margaritas too. Mmmmmmmmargaritas.
Food and booze is a really good idea, you can drink for ever as long as there is food to nibble away at.
The empty stomach is the downfall of the drunk.
Also got to see the film Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
What a beautiful piece of film it is. A breath of fresh air.
Its a wonderful thing when a film stimulates mentally and emotionally. So many don't.
Would put it on my favourites list along with Lost In Translation and many others, but I ran out of space at cuckoos nest.
I could sit in the Cinema all day if there were enough good films on release at the same time all showing in the same cinema.
There was a new print of China Town on release recently. Couldn't see it any where near me though.
Would have loved to have seen it on the big screen.
My house is a mess. I need to tidy up. Not dirty or anything, just stuff strewn about.
So how are you?
What was the last great film you saw?
What are you wearing right now?

We were right next to Ridley Road Market, and there was always a reggedy Rasta smokin a spliff on the corner. Ah, yes, those were the days.
I was in the UK cause I had just graduated from uni and there was a special exchange program where I could get a 6mth work visa called BUNAC. It works for UK kids to come to the US as well.
After I get ny Masters degree, I'll probably try to get back to Europe, but I'm not sure how, just yet...though the UK has relaxed the 'highly skilled migrant worker' qualifications for those under 28.
I never got a chance to go to Scotland or uo north at all, and I regret it. It was to tempting to take RyanAirs cheap flights to the continent when we had some holiday time.
it's unfortunate that so many billions of dollars are wasted every year in creating film that is designed to only induce apathy.
i am wearing some red track shorts from the 70's (the kind with the stripe down the sides) and a black tank top, with multi-colored polka-dotted pumps. there is a ribbon around my neck.
and i am so so glad that you like deceparecidos. one of these days i'll put together a stellar little mix cd and ship it off for you to enjoy. until then, you keep rockin' that guacamole.
