This morning i was thinking that i would just concentrate on getting my degree, and not worry about just what i would do later, because there are SO many things i am interested in that i can't imagine settling on one.
Then this afternoon i read an essay for Greek art that totally knocked my socks off and made me REALLY want to write stuff like that. This woman totally re-interpreted not only the meaning of the mysterious Parthenon frieze, but the function of the entire Athenian Akropolis!! and she did it convincingly!! my brain went "wow".

you've never been out to LA, have you? If not, the Getty museum is not to be missed. Someday I'd like to go to Greece, and for that matter most of Europe. I so want to defile the parthenon, though. But in a non-permanent way... I want to go explore that spot off the coast of Greece where they believe Atlantis once was...
