Listening: the hum of the computer and the occasional passing car

I just dyed my friend's hair. She is Mormon and has a conservative mom, so she was really hesitant to dye it bright red. I suggested we just do the ends (okay, i begged). We did the ends and there was one streak that got away from me. since it was streaked in one spot, she decided to just go ahead and do the rest. I finger-painted her hair, streaking it in smudgy streaks. Her hair is naturally blonde and also bleached, so now it looks really flamey and cool. Fortunately i had a few pistures left on my camera, so i got some shots of it before she went back to her dorm.
Earlier today i didn't care whether i went dancing tonight or not. Then between her and J vacillating over whether or not they wanted to go, i started to want to go. Then, after she left, it really hit me how she's leaving in a few days and i won't get to see her until the fall. And then i suddenly really did want us to go. But by that time she had not been studying, since we had been playing with her hair instead. So now i am waiting to see if she feels like she can go after she does some studying. Hope So Hope So Hope So. . .
Oh! here's some pictures from my club. The last picture at the bottom of this page is of J and me. The one above that is my friend, i met her because she started going out with another friend (at the bottom of this page).
Heh heh my fingers are totally red. I kinda forgot that the reason i wear gloves when dying hair is that it keeps my hands from turning bright colors, and i was dying directly with my fingers for a while. Whoopsie! It's amazing to me sometimes how i can be a ditz like that So tomorrow i get to go to a job interview with freaky red hands. I don't figure they'll care, its a pretty laid-back job making phone calls to alums asking for money. Still kinda makes me feel like an idot though.
I moved some more stuff into my new home today. I am going to be living in the smallest attic room ever, but only until the fall. Then two of my roomates are moving to Germany, and i will get to take one of their rooms.
She just IMed me-- too much studying to do to go out. Shit. Oh well no biggie. . . better that i know she can do well on her test tomorrow. Besides i partly wanted to go because my buddy Pat is spinning the first hour, and i've already missed that anyway.
Hope everyone's day is going well. Still taking the St Johnswort, things have definitely calmed down inside me, and SCHOOL IS OVER!! Only one more final to go, but it should be pretty easy.
be well, and don't forget to look up at the night sky sometimes. . . it is so pretty.

I've dyed my Mormon friend's hair red before too. In the bathroom of a boy who hated her and wanted to get with me's mom's house. I love when boys do what I tell them.
