ok, so can you have culinary ocd? lately i have an unholy obsession with waterchestnuts. not possible, you say? au contrair. i am up to 4 cans of waterchesnuts a day. of course, i did create a really kickin' tuna salad recipe out of it, but still ... odd.
i know from elementary lore that the desire to crunch ice is sexual frustration, and mercy mary that could be true right now. whew, since september people ... not pretty. anyway, apparantly the desire to crunch is also linked to some sort of mineral deficiency, but i don't recall what. perhaps my self-destructive tendencies have diluted to the point that i rage by crunching of harmless, rather pointless vegetables. considering my increasing love of boxing, perhaps not. i did spend my first years of life in asia, so maybe it is some sort of comfort food thing.
jeez - who fucking cares, eh? have you ever seen such neuroding?
i am probably just distracting myself from the stress of the holidays, the move, the thought of the semester, all of the things i planned that remain undone ... et all.
with the way i make & break to do lists i MUST be a silver star member of the national time-space continuum juggling association. i hear at double-platinum you win a free trip to the Squared Square Resort in tropical Dimension VI. this is the only dimension not currently under federal scrutiny, so i can bring nail clippers - woohoo.
i am such a geek - even my stress is nerdy.
at least i have drag bingo to look forward to on friday. yeehaw. more on that later.
be well, delightful sg friends!
