Well yesterday marked exactly a month since my exgf dumped me. I made it you guys! Since she's on this site I won't say too much, but I will let you know that I did something yesterday that gave me the most liberated feeling ever. I don't need her anymore. I have gotten past my incesant need to have her back and I've gotten over my anger at her for treating me the way she did. I'm not saying that I'm ready to get back out in the dating world, but I'm ready to stop thinking about her twenty-four seven!
Spring Break has also now come to a close. Even through the sadness though I'm glad to be back. I guess I'm just a weirdo... loving school and all. The end of my break was great though. Thursday Eric came to visit and we stayed up until 5AM. Friday I went to dinner with my entire family (grandparents, mom, stepdad and little sister) while wearing a green shirt that said I Kiss Girls across the front (I hadn't been planning on seeing them and if I'd known I wouldn't have worn that around my conservative Christian family). Saturday I worked in the morning and then went over to my parent's so my stepdad could change my oil. My grandpa and my mom had made spinach lasagna (vegetarian for those of you who don't know) and invited me to stay for dinner, they had made it especially for me! Sometimes my family surprises me with kindness. Um... then Sunday I worked in the morning again and then drove back to Funchester (and campus) after doing a load of laundry at home.
Today Chris and I are going apartment hunting! I'm soooo excited! I really can not wait till we have our own place! We're hopefully going to look at these apartments called York Terrace, two bedroom utilities included for $700/month. That's not bad at all depending on what utilities are included, you know? Hopefully they'll look as good on the inside as they do on the outside. Wish me luck!
