You write well. I am not sure where exactly to post at if I want to reply to a comment that you made on a comment I made. I know I could just add another comment under what you last wrote, but then if I post a new entry it will vanish, right? I don't know. I will say that I never thought what you initially wrote to be improper, even if you felt it as such. I wrote what I did because I was very interested that you may have thought a thing like that improper; and, I enjoy that quality, that is, you finding it... excessive? I really do like that. I like you, how you write, the things you say. I was being a bit sarcastic when I brought up nationalism, and also not sarcastic. A cliche saying- "Sarcasm is half-truth." I think that is wrong. I did not intend to offend you in any manner by what I wrote, as well. I may have sounded a bit vulgar, but vulgar is the tone of honesty babbled and not filtered through the liver of language. Or a thing like that. A dialogue between my brother and I about Iraq will be published. I do not know if you are interested in those sorts of things. It will not be your typical dialogue on the subject, that is certain. My brother just got back from Iraq with his wife; he lives down the street from me and is a film maker, as is his wife. I will send you his sites after this. We live in Chicago. I am finishing a double major in Fashion Design and Fiction Writing. I used to be a Literature Major but had to switch for reasons. Was your father born in Lebanon, and have you ever been? I didn't mean to be rude about that before. I do not view you as some little naive girl, although we are all a version of naive girls at some point of the day, somewhere. If you are interested I could send you some short stories, but I should probably send it as an attachment, or something like that. My father is Iraqi, a Shi'a from the south, and my mother is Palestinian from the non-existing Jaffa in the north, near Lebanon. My father is a professor at the University of Amman in Jordan, and my mother is involved with the fashion industry (she is a designer) in Colorodo; they are divorced. And yes, I have lived and was raised all throughout various places about the Arab world. I was raised between Iowa City and overseas. That is enough for now.

If you just go to www.alshaibi.net, it will link you with all the sites of my brother's, and his wife, and soon to be all of mine. They are getting done now.
