So, like I mentioned before, I homeschool.
I homeschool my son, both because he wants to and because it gives me a purpose. I think if I didn't have him to love and focus on I would lose my mind- he is, I feel, the only one who reciprocates the affection for others that wells up deep inside me and spills over. I am loving this one last year with my baby and then next year we will both move on- him to a school-school, and me to work.
People often say to me, "How can you homeschool? I wouldn't have the patience for it." If you think about it, how much time, love, and attention did your teachers give you when you were in school? Probably not much. I'm not the most patient person, but I figure I can definitely do better than that. All that's really required is that you love the company of a child.
So, here I am. I am a single parent much of the time because my husband travels for work, and I don't have any family nearby. Therefore, I tend to sound a little needy and angsty when I blog sometimes. Bear with me.

We're all a little needy and angsty sometimes.
