Note to self, never post on the net while drunk....
I'm trying to get it together to get a small exhibition of my Linocuts going, something I've always wanted to do. It's a series I did, initially starting with some fairly detailed studies of insects and then moving into much more invented abstract images. Here's a few badly photographed examples for you.
Inside a wasp nest. (Image has been cut off on the right unfortunately. They should make this thing wi...der!! )

There are quite a few more in the series, I guess this doesn't represent them that well. These are a couple of sketch book pages from the series too, mainly charcoal work.
Oh yeah, if you don't like Spiders look away now!!!!
This guy was in my room the other night. It seems this species of Tegenaria seem to come out here in August/September. They look pretty terrifying up close, run at tremendous speed across your floor and have big legs. They aren't that impressive compared to the big continental species obviously but for Scotland, yeah, they are big!!! Apparently, they can give you a bad necrotic bite too so I treat them with kids gloves.
These are a few more pics from my trip last month.
Anyway, not much has been happening, I have an interview for a new job this week, I've been going squared eyed watching:
A national Geo film on Giant Squid
Aqua teen Hunger force
Turkish version of Starwars (20p budget, cheap robots and much hilarity in general)
The truly awful Day of the Dead:Contagium(shudder)
The amazing workprint of Creepshow with about 12 minutes extra footage. Hurray!
Some cheap dinosaur flicks. Raar.
And with that I'll say raar again, goodbye and spread my wings ungracefully like a malfunctioning B movie dragonfly.

The art is wonderful... just amazing...
Spider... I hadn't mentioned this before but I (well we) had a lovely wolf spider living with us in our living room until this weekend. As you know I was quite ill (much better now) and while I was sleeping and Aversin was looking away, our friend came out to investigate the room and was promptly stomped by a guest... (Who REALLY knew better than to do such in my home)... Anyhow... enough with that...
I send my best wishes on the job... *long distance crossed fingers and other good vibes*
Smile!
So...When ARE you going to post your art in our illustrious Gore Gallery? You know...I have a fuckin full sketchbook, eventhough my Portfolio got stolen, I am still drawing..(Managed to design the newest tattoo) But MAN! I love it when I walk into my office and see some of your art staring back at me on the screen, OR...there ARE those amazing storyboards you send me from eBay ( )
LOL!
Well..I left alot more in the message...I WILL sit at my puter in case a round of tag is on..(YOU'RE IT!)
