hey i saw your tofu question on the veggie group. Honestly, Soem of the ideas people were giving you sucked so Im gonna give you a couple of hints.. if people said them already, sorry, i didnt want to read through them all. But tofu changes texture by freezing and boiling. If you want to make it kidna meaty.. Freeze it first. Then cook it. I always have a couple blocks of tofu in the freezer. Also, you can bake it, or fry it.. You'll have to try different things, but you want to cook it for kinda a while. Cut it into small peices and fry util its crunchy. mushy tofu is yetch. but the freezing will give it a better texture.. it wont be mushy. thats how most good restarunts cook it. try it and let me know.. i have tons of good tips and tricks for new veggies. good luck
