So I DID IT!!! The 5k was this morning. I finished my first 5k in 32:37...pretty damn good for someone who has never done one before and never liked to run. Although, i desperatly wanted to stop, seemed like each mile was 10! I watched so many people pass me even a woman and her dog!! I was struggling so much for the last .2 miles and when i finally reached the finish line i thought i was going to pass out and throw up! But i didnt..hehe

Ok, so another story, i was driving home this afternoon..on a main road by the way..Im coming up over a small hill and I see a man on the side of the road holding onto a swan, It was huge and looked very scared. The man was trying to lead it in the right direction so it wouldnt get hit. So i slow down just to be careful and the swan darts out into the road, i had to slam on my brakes and hope i wouldnt get hit. The bird is n ow so scared and hovering in the front of my car. I almost hit the poor thing. Now i am an animal lover and that would have killed my day. At the same time i wanted to help by i am terrified of swans, thats a whole other story i wont get into. The man was very helpful and got the swan out of the road by carrying it!! I wanted to kiss the guy for caring so much for the scared bird.

So that is my day so far and now i am home in my studio, working on some wrapping, cleaning and watching the grinch
