So, I know I've been in hiding lately...I've been going through so much lately. I thought I'd just do an update full of pictures to show what my life has been going through lately. This took forever @_@
There were lots of ups and downs and things were pretty bad for a while, but now we finally have something to look forward to...we're going to Kauai in November! We need this so bad!

Went to a screening of one of my favorite movies at one of my favorite places!

Got my bass fixed! Some of the frets needed to be replaced and she needed a good cleaning!

Then he sold his painting!



I started doing Parkour (last August) and I met these fools and we fast became pals!



I finally made a boa! Since I'm vegan I created it out of fine mesh tulle!



Celebrated my birthday with hubs and some great friends at another of my fave places!



I went home to Philly for a post bday visit and I did some park Parkour!





I also performed my burlesque for the first time in my home city! It was SO amazing!



I started making pinup art for an event we had at work



I got asked to do Lucha VaVoom's Cinco De Mayo show, so I had to make a costume!!!

I had been asked about a year ago to start teaching a classic burlesque class at the local dance studio and I finally got around to saying yes! May 8th was my first class!



I kicked ass at a pop themed burlesque show doing a tribute to Michael Jackson!





I bought these fancy bitches for Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas! I could not wait to wear these and meet all of the wonderful performers and fans!



Thanks to landing a tic tac wrong in Parkour, I rolled the shit out of my ankle and tore the ligaments



It was pretty bad, as you can see



I could not put any pressure on it at all, and I couldn't work, so all I could do was lay on the couch and rest with Ally...boredom got to me so I added some rhinestones to my boot. This injury was not gonna keep me from Vegas!

I couldn't swim but I still had fun!

My poor baby bird got a little sick but thankfully it didn't last!



My baby bro moved back to Philly last September, so in June he brought his girlfriend for a visit!



We all went to The Magic Castle and glammed up the grocery store after!



A bit of physical therapy. Twice a week from about 2 1/2 weeks after the injury.

So, as if it wasn't bad enough having such an awful injury...it gets worse...short version of what happened, June 28, I slammed my finger in my car door ('79 Camaro) my finger was stuck because I had already locked the door. Shawn had to come around and unlock the door to get me out When I was freed, I was in complete shock! The nail was intact but the surrounding skin was open...attached only on one side...it opened like a locket...



I went to Brotman and they were HORRIBLE!!! Again, long story short...they said it wasn't that bad, they wrapped it up and told me to get it redressed at an urgent care place in a couple of days...Brotman was fucking wrong! Urgent care sent me to a hand specialist exactly a week later, she looked at it and said "that's not gonna heal on its own, we need to do surgery tomorrow" (July 6)



Our 15 year anniversary was 4 days later. We went to the beach and then Shawn cooked me dinner.



All this for a finger...(9 stitches...5 of them were through my nail)



Not only did Shawn keep me fed once I had an appetite again, he dressed me, bathed me, put my hair in a ponytail every day...he also did my nails! Crescent manicure!

Once the bandages came off I had to soak off the blood and other shit...



I missed 3 1/2 weeks of work and when I came back I couldn't shampoo for another 3 weeks, and this is how i had to wrap it



While all of the finger drama was happening, we had to move because the cock head landlord raised the rent to $1900



We rescued Ally from a deep box that she couldn't get out of

Finally I was well enough to perform, even though my ankle was still wrapped, as was my finger...this was a tough show to get through, but I'm so glad I did it!

My baby sis and her boyfriend came to visit and we went to the Mar Vista Farmers Market!

I got a haircut! Finally...after all that I had gone through, my hair was really a mess!

We finally got a new bed and mattress!



Back at the doctor for a check up...my new nail is coming in! I've been taking biotin like a boss!



Now my mama is here and we went to watch Purple Rain at Midnight!
