Hurray! I'm a blogger hopeful for SG's news blog now. I intend to cover all kinds of geekery from Web 2.0 (social networking), to maybe some Apple rumors, possibly even some posts about shinny new gadgets. Who knows? So many story ideas running through my head right now... I hope none of them trip. Skinned knees suck.

As for my background, I work as a freelance journalist / writer / blogger and have several projects in the works including writing for LaptopLogic.com, and I also write for AppleXnet.com which I founded and have been working on for 5+ years nows. Meanwhile, I also work for Loreal as an Administrative Assistant. Plus, I am also a college student. In the past I was a Retail Sales Coordinator for Thierry Mugler Fragrances and then I worked for Clarins Fragrance Group. In high school I was the graphic coordinator for my schools tv studio / news show.
I have been using a Mac and following Apple for a life time, I have also been pursuing web design for 6 years, graphic design for 5 years, and journalism for 4 years. I also have notable experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and have coding experience with HTML, DHTML, PHP (MySQL), Javascript, CSS, AppleScript, and others. As for my history with computers, I started out on an Macintosh SE (around age 4), then had a Mac Classic, after that an LC II, next a Performa 6300, which was followed by an iMac DV SE 400mhz that is now retired thanks to my 15-inch 1.25GHz PowerBook G4 which is now collecting a little dust because of my black 2GHz MacBook.
