Been limping around for two weeks since my catastrophic session at Reed Park Skate Court.
The scar on my temple doesn't look like a railroad track, it's tough-looking yet oddly stylish. There was a time when something like that would have greatly upset me, but I find myself grinning at the sight of it now. I credit the Tao. It could be another week before I can stand on a skateboard again.
I bought about $200 worth of safety gear (in hindsight, I should have bought that first).
I bought a new deck, too. It was on sale - so what the hell:
