got laid off last week before i even started working at the job. bummer. a friend told me it was a sign, but im too much of a philosopher to bite into that.

in general, life is too kalidescopic to determine endings or beginings. except for death, of course.

so, at a pivotal moment in my life, i just got a fantastic new job.

its a management position at a wireless startup company in sausalito. they are at the point where the are growing by leaps and bounds, and need people to help manage the rapid size increase. sweet. double my current salary. and its pretty much exactly what i want to be doing....

just got back from a long weekend in Seattle. very, very fun. i have decided that seattle is so much better when i just visit it. so that even though i have a blast every time i go up there, i dont think i will ever move back. the weather kills me.

all my overtime at work has gotten me some big paychecks. sweet.

now all i need to do is get laid. repeatedly.

aaarggggg! poison oak! i love my dog but i hate what she brings back from the hills with her.

moods fluctuate and the weeks roll over onto each other, but my ambition is ever present.

the gre was painful today. had to cancel my scores because i knew i hadnt made my target. got hung up on an early question, didnt have time to finish the last 3 or so questions. around 90% of those accepted to the schools im applying to have perfect math scores. i can do it, today was just not the day.
