My head is throbbing like a bass drum. Just boom boom boom..

I saw my mom yesterday. She's doing amazingly better. She was laying in bed, eating and crocheting. She's not only going to live past this week, she may stick around for months, maybe even years. They're still pushing for an operation, but its really risky. She'd probably die from the anesthesia. So she's happy where she is. I'm not at all relgious...but I honestly think a greater power stepped in and told her its not her time yet. All those positive thoughts and prayers....its amazing what they can do to change a persons life...you know?
I can't thank you all enough for every thought and every prayer...I honestly think it has helped her stick around a little longer. I owe you all a lot more then I will ever have to give.

In other news...I'm kind of flabbergasted by the whole porn issue. If grown adults are paying money to a private site to see two consenting adults doing something that will not harm either of them....then what is the problem? Why can't I see a girl tied up, who, god forbid...may like it! I mean, I do admit, some of the sets that have been censored I didn't feel were in good taste (suicide is not funny...and it really isn't sexy either. I always hated that set and I thought it was alot of things, and art is not one of them) but that doesn't mean they should be against the law. I know alot of lovely people in the sex industry who could be affected by such a trite law and it bothers me. Aren't there bigger, scarier things we could be using tax dollars to fight?

I'm itchy. Its like its pre-seasonal dry skin. Its finally getting cool out, I can knit without sweating. And there are a few haunted houses open already. I've had apple cider donuts, pumpkin spice coffee and muffin, green apple loaf and pumpkin shaped sugar cookies. Mmm...seasonal food....

Tonight I will hopefully go see A History of Violence.
