This weekend was spent in a sleepy haze. I think I slept more this weekend then I have in the past month.
When its hot outside, there's nothing else I'd rather do then nap in front of a fan.
I am a sloth, what can I say.
The heat is seriously pissing me off. I am not cut out for this 90+ degree weather. Grrr....damn summer.
I saw Secretary and Cold Mountain this weekend. Secretary was really good. I would recommend it to everyone, but i'm sure most people have seen it already. Cold Mountain...well...it was long. Thats all I have to say about that.
My knitting has been halted because of the heat. Hopefully this afternoon it won't be too bad and I'll actually get work done. Its hard to feel motivated to work with wool when sweat is running down your back.
My mom sounds good. I spoke to her yesterday and she was in good spirits. She seems to have more energy now then she has in weeks, which makes me very happy. She's eating soft food and she's moving around a little bit. I know she's far from being healthy, but I am grateful for these moments. Any improvement is a cause for celebration.

Liked Secretary a lot. Especially the scene where she's doing office work with the spreader bar on her arms. It gave me some good ideas.
And oh yes, I placed an order for those nubile fan boys. They should be here anyday. Thank god for FedEx!
