Hey kats and kittens.
This weekend was nice. The boy and I went to Bastile Day, like I previously noted (to those who don't know what that is, its a celebration of the storming of the Bastile during the French Revolution and the over throw of the aristocracy) I got to eat half a smushed Twinkie...it was good.
Sunday was a chill day with my Apocalypse_Dude. I leveled up my undead warrior in WoW and we did our weekly shopping run. I also saw the weirdest movie....Battle Royale. I can't even describe it its so weird. The Japanese government picks a random class of teenagers, in this case a 7th grade class, sticks them on an abandoned island and makes them all kill each other until there's only one left. Its amazing how graphic some of these killings are. And mind you, its a fun kill-fest, but its all teenage casualties. This could NEVER be made in the US. Here its still relatively taboo to kill children in films.
GREAT MOVIE!
I feel like its going to be a long week. One of those weeks that drags on forever.
I got wood earrings for my ears, but man oh man is one of my lobes sore. I think its torn, and it just isn't happy. Whether I have earrings in or out its cranky. Blah...stupid ears. Thats why I'm getting my next peircing below the neck...none of this cranky healing bullshit.
If you guess what I plan on getting done, well, good for you.
I guess I should get to work, since I'm here and all.
Later gators!

Two updates:
1. I've had pretty bad dizzy spells the past few weeks, which seemed to have gotten alot worse today. Like, almost passed out in the middle of the street bad. So off to the doctor's tomorrow morning.
2. I'm going to see Mariza (a Portuguese fado singer) and Lila Downs (a Mexican singer featured in Frida) in October. I'm so excited I could spit...mmmm...sexy international singing...mmm...

And dammit, I've been meaning to see Battle Royale since it first came out, but I never get around to it. One of these days I'm just gonna buy the damn thing from the bootleg DVD guy in the Gallery
I hope you feel better soon. I almost passed out at work today, i was working in direct sun and it was in the upper 90's. I hate hot weather. Do you think yours is medicine related though?
Have fun seeing Mariza! That sounds awesome!
And, have fun with your hoodie
G'night lady
