Last night I realized just how not-goth I am. I went to a goth night with the SGPhilly crew. Its just so different then what I remember. I haven't been clubbing in like 7 years, and that was in Newark, NJ. and before that NY. I was amazed to see kids, 14 year olds, there. I used to go clubbing when I was 14, but thats because I looked 21. These kids looked like kids.
I don't know, I guess the older I get, the sillier everything seems. I'm an indie rock dork. I like to knit, I like to dance to old soul music and garage rock, I like to drink good beer.
I'm just more of a rocker bar person now.
The company was nice though. And Goob fondled my boob. which is always a plus.
I'm glad that almost everyone who responded yesterday was down with Bruce Campbell. I love that man, he is just so funny. And still sexy as the dickens!
Tonight I go into full craft show mode. All I'm going to do is print business cards (I do it myself, I'm ghetto fabulous yo) price bags, felt my last three little bags and make sure I have everything. I also have to run to Target before Saturday and get comfortable chairs and a second table cloth. Since I plan on bringing an extra table with me.
I have grocery lists of things I need to get accomplished in the next two days. But I work best under pressure.
Real quick funny story. So I screwed up my orange sweater. I was getting 8 stiches to an inch instead of 7...doesn't sound like much but add it up over 364 and it makes a heck of alot of difference. Anyway. I was annoyed, had to go up two needle sizes and start over. I got so frustrated casting on the owner of the yarn shop stepped in. She had to cut all my stiches off of my needles because they were so tight, and she happily cast on all 364 stiches for me. I wanted to hug her I was so happy, since I HATE casting on. It was a joyous moment indeed. One of the reasons why I LOVE MY LOCAL YARN SHOP!!!
Top 3 dance songs of the moment:
1. Sex Machine - James Brown
2. Dancing With myself - Billy Idol
3. Got To Give It Up (cover) - Dirtbombs
Party on kids!
Still pimpin..

With the operation, what are they looking at doing? Is it something she is comfortable doing? How much of an impact will a feeding tube make...meaning, will it still permit her to be active?
I'm sorry love. Drop a line if you need to. *hug!
~cheers
I went to that place in Newark (QXT?) once about six or seven years ago. It was the only time in my life I felt out of place for not wearing a cape.
