Hey kiddies!
Again, thank you for all the comments.
I went to see my mom yesterday. It really broke my heart, she's lost so much weight. And she was so pale. But she was in good spirits. I couldn't stay long because she was very tired, but I did get to talk to my dad while she was getting her CAT scan done.
If her left side is clear of cancer cells (her tumor is on the right) they may operate this week and connect her intestines and colon in a way so the wound on her right side won't be connected. Hopefully, if this happens, it will finally close. This will also make it easier for them to treat the cancerous tumor on her right side.
I'm glad that this may happen, but at the same time I'm nervous. That's a really big operation. If it happens I'll probably go home either the day of the operation, or the day after. If for nothing else, just to hang out with my dad so he doesn't have to spend the whole day alone.
I'm doing ok. I've been extremely tired this whole weekend. I think its the stress and heat getting to me. I chipped the top off of one of my knitting needles yesterday in the car, so i need to buy a new pair at some point. Thats all I'm letting myself think about. Knitting needles and knitting projects. My orange sweater is chugging along. I'm finally almost done the ribed edging on the bottom. It has taken forever! I look forward to mindless stockinette for weeks!
I don't feel like doing my normal schtick. So, hmm, here's a list of bands that have new cds out that I would like to purchase:
1. Sleater-Kinney
2. James William Hindle
3. Damon & Naomi
And my three favorite smells of the moment:
1. Honey
2. herbs
3. Strawberries
I hope everyone is doing well and had a nice weekend!
