First and foremost....
The lay out of this site infuriates me more and more. After this year is up I'm done. Its just not the same place I loved, and since most of the features don't seem to work on a regular basis, I can't be bothered. Sure...myspace sucks, but at least its free. I can deal with crap when it free, not when I'm feeding my hard earned money into it.
My work has been hectic. Its a good day when I get to take a big chunk of my lunch hour. Which, unfortunately, is not the norm.
I used to escape to the lovely historical park across the street from me, but its been overrun with historical reenactors, tourists, school trips, and the crazies the warm weather brings out. It kind of bums me out, my quiet park will be noisey and chock full of people probably until October.
Eating lunch at my desk is fine, but by early afternoon its flooded with hot sunlight (stupid skylight) and if anyone calls for me I'm kind of forced to deal with it, even if I'm mid-bite of my sandwich.
When I get home my brain is so fried I either want to play Oblivion mindlessly or knit mindlessly. I have great blog entries running through my head, I just don't have the energy to type them.
But boy...do I love the bullet points when I don't feel like getting into long tedious passages...
Things I like to do since I'm too poor to travel anywhere:
- I plan on knitting two sweaters this summer. By the time its cold I will be warm
- soapmaking. Sure...I haven't hypothetically started, but I've researched books, I'm taking a second class, and I'm making a list of ingredients I plan on buying as soon as I have extra money. I plan on starting a small business selling the stuff. Stay tuned!
- PC games. Oblivion has made me fall back in love with PC games. I'm loving the controls. I have a slew of console games still to get through, but I'm more then happy giving face time to my 'puter.
- Watching the Travel channel obsessively. Sure, its kind of sad, but its is useful to make mental notes of places I'd like to go...eventually...someday...after I've won the lottery.
- blogging more...instead of thinking about doing it.
Man...I think I'd be happier going on vacation then doing anything on my list. Oh well.
When work slows down a bit you'll hear from me more...promise!

Could have sworn I saw you.
You're right, the layout of this site blows.
