God I'm an idiot....I did one of those typed up a whole entry and then accidently erased it by opening another page. Grrr....now where was I...
I need to get on the ball, my husband of few words is posting more often then I am! (just kidding Apocalypse_dude....or am I?....dun dun dun)
The summer and I are at war. I hate it! Hate it hate it hate it! I'm constantly stuffed up with a headache, my face is oily, I'm sweating...ugh. Summer...I'm going to kick your ass!
All I want is a few damn days under 80 degrees...is that so much to ask? I'd run away to somewhere cooler, but does that even exist anymore?
I'm forcing myself to knit with my favorite wool even though it has mohair in it. I'm doing this nice shawl. The pattern is repetitive enough that I can drag it around with me, but interesting enough to hold my attention for long periods. Too bad its going to be months before I can wear it! Bah!
My job search is well.....kind of stalling. I've realized the market slows to a crawl during the summer, what with vacations and flex time and what not. I'm not giving up, but 'm not exactly jumping for joy either.
As long as I'm out of my work come September i'll be happy.
I watched Syriana last night. Really good movie. Stellar cast and acting. I think I may even prefer George Clooney as a pudgy older man with a shaved hair line. (or maybe its my thing for beards) Although the torture scene literally made me jump out of my chair and cover my eyes. I can watch millions of horror movies, but man, rip a mans fingernails off and I'm ready to faint.
And being the total geek that I am I was SO happy to see Alexander Siddig in something other then a Starfleet uniform. Holy moley is that guy cute.
I really need a new profile picture...something that wasn't taken a year ago.
Next Wedsenday we're going to see the Warriors in Coney Island. Its part of a Netflix traveling show. They're showing movies for free in the places they were filmed. I just love Coney Island, so any excuse to go there is a good excuse to me. It will probably be my only time at the beach the entire summer, and we won't even get there until after 4pm. But....mmmmm....I can taste the Nathan's fries, big yard margaritas and soft serve cone already!!!! And...I plan on dragging everyone on the cheesey haunted house rides, and they have 4 of em!
Later gators!

I need to update more often but by the time I go through answering stuff and other peoples journals my fingers are blah.
