oh fall...I love you! Even though you barely changed the colors of leaves on the trees...what is up with that!!! But I'll forgive you for giving us apple cider, cool, crisp nights, pumpkin lattes, apple and pumpkin pie, apple bread, cinnamon anything, and every other lovely fall thing I can think of.
I spent a lovely season-filled fest with my boy. On Friday I bought new amber colored plugs (so I can look a wee bit more normal for job interviews) and I scheduled my first tattoo for the Saturday of my birthday. I'm getting a jack o' lantern. The picture made the girl squeal when she saw it, she's very excited to tattoo it and I'm excited to receive it.
Saturday we went to the Redding Terminal market (can I just say this is my FAVORITE place in Philly) and I bought the tastiest apple bread EVER!
Then pumpkin carving with Seaniefresh, blackcorvidae, trashe, and my Apocalypse_Dude. We had pizza, ate the tastiest cake made by blackcorvidae, and carved pumpkins. I made a very...hmm...mentally challenged spider, Seanie made the Pabts blue ribbon logo (go look at his journal..NOW) and I'm still in awe of the Reaper down by BlackCrovidae and trashe's amazingly mind blowing detailed haunted house. Seriously...these kids are pumpkin carving geniuses!!!! I thank them a million times for inviting us.
Today we walked a trail outside of the city, looked at the few wimpy trees that actually changed color, went food shopping, and drank coffee in the park while watching dogs.
It was a nice weekend all around. But anytime spent with my honey is super!
Tuesday is my first day of work. I'm insanely excited. I'm already thinking about what to wear, and what project I should bring with me just in case its slow.
Speaking of..my shawl is flying along, you can already see the repeat looking like something simple yet lovely. And the baby alpaca is soooo soft, like clouds. I can't stop working on it. Even though I really need to get my ass in gear on the sleeves for my orange sweater.....I am finally at the sleeves...oh yes...there is a lord!
How are you kiddies?
Is everyone ready for Halloween yet?
Holy crap...this time next week I'm going to be 29...eek! I'm not ready! I'm not ready!
