i think i need a root canal in one of my molars. my head feels like its on fire. someone please tell me that a root canal isnt that bad.

I asked for it. Because I already know that I am terrified of the dentist and it makes me sick to my stomache.. I think I asked for it when I went in to have the tooth looked at. I had chipped the tooth and I didn't know I was going to need the root canal.

My dentist also had valium on hand that he could give out. Which he did when the one dose of valium wasn't enough.
