its been too hot for a decent update
summer weather just came out of nowhere...
watched "City of God" last night, its a really good movie
though it doesnt paint a pretty picture of Rio de Janeiro
the slums there are not to be messed with, damn scary shit.
kids with way too much fire power and drugs.
this week i ordered the new Dirtbombs and Bell Rays albums
amazon.com was the only place i could find them because philly record stores are a sorry bunch
The Bell Rays are a band that sounds like TinaTurner singing for the MC5.
certainly one of the most underated bands out there. they unfortunatly put out few albums and the sound quality aint the best, but they put on a kick ass live show.
they havent been through these parts in a while. the same goes for the Dirtbombs who also put on a rocking live show...
good stuff i tell yah
also looking forward to the new Battlefield 2 demo that is supposed to make its way online tonight
another online pc shooter that i get yelled at for playing
probably has something to do with the hypocrisy of denouncing military action while simultaneously enjoying realistic military games like this one
cant i have both?
