The debate has been going wild about the competition for the next generation video game console systems. Which one do you buy?
Microsoft's Xbox360 has been released for several months now, which gave them a strong start. Nintendo and Sony release their respective consoles next week. We wont know until the dust settles, but it looks like Nintendo may take the crown yet again with their cutting edge technology (more on that later), low prices (Wii retails at $250, Xbox360 at $450 and PS3 at a whopping $650) and the sheer number of games available.
Oh, and did I mention that it kicks the crap out of everyone else's system in the most important category: How fun it is to play.
There will be aproximately 400 thousand PS3s worldwide at release. Nintendo is going with a conservative 4 million Wii units worldwide, with 1 million for North America alone. Yep, thats right, there will be more than twice as many Nintendo units in North America than there will be PS3 units in the whole world, and 10 times as many worldwide. Sony seems to think that this brilliant marketing strategy will create hype and demand for the PS3. All it seems to be doing is making people rich on Ebay.

Playstation 3 Shipments:
Ok, so the PS3 was a joke... sorta.
Nintendo's Wii is cutting edge, the technology is amazing, and I've got mine coming next week. Go check it out Wii.com
