This band I used to be in, Sanseiru, is calling it quits. The last show is next weekend here in town. I'm going to be joining them for a couple songs. I practiced with them last night for a couple hours, and it was tonnes of fun. I was trying to figure out why I quit. And I can't tell.
I think I had more fun in those two hours than I have in the 4 months since I started this new band. But I don't think it's because I like the band better, but because there's no pressure. Pressure to write songs, pressure to get shows, pressure to be good. When you know there's nothing else to proove, then I guess you can just be in it for the fun.
Anyway, that's a pic of me playing with Sanseiru. Probably 5 years ago. The only time I've ever been in a band that actually played out of town shows and toured and shit. Man, that was fun. I miss that.

kopper:
that picture would be better if you were rocking out with a crazy leg kick... something with the agility of david lee roth, and the flair of todd rundgren.
