So.
I'm writing my first basic Web Page for Web&Design class last night. I'm working with Simple Text, typing away. I need to get the end of the line, so I tap END. Nothing. It just sits there. WTF?! If Macs are so superior, why does the Mac equivilent to Notepad not interpret the END key?
Other than that, there's a lot to like about the Macs. It's an older system, a G3 in the old Desktop Case with 96 MB of Ram, but it moved at a good clip. I didn't find myself waiting for anything. Which is good. And I think I like the way the Finder works, with the uniform Menu bar at the top of the page.
Too bad I can't dual boot my PC with Windows 2000 and Mac OS. That'd be pretty cool.
Wow, that's a pretty nerdy entry.
Is it a bad thing to revert to old times because you think they're in your best interest? My life is taken up mostly by going to school and playing in a band. A band which is essentially the same one I quit 7 years ago, the last time I was in school.
Anyway, I'm happy, and that's what counts.
I have this lingering feeling that something's missing, though. It's not perpetual, it comes and goes. But it still bothers me.
In the words of Homer J, "Ungh, waddya gonna do..."
