-man, i was lucky to have worked with a studer in college during an analog synthesis course. just me, the prof, an emu modular synth and a studer to capture it all.

it was so dynamic and present sounding. ordinally, i would say "wow", but that's a bit awkward when discussing the virtues of analog recording...
