As some you know, I love taking photos as well as posing and crafting (and many, many other things else, too...). Let me share some recent shots with you in my blogpost. The model here is young Nadiia, 18 y.o. daughter of my university teacher, young and pure, creative, tender and fully magical. She became a true embodiment of the spring blossoming, and the shots we've made, of course, bear a bit of mystery and hidden senses (as it is natural for me and my "style"), but they are, maybe, one of the brightest and the "happiest" pictures in my "experience collection".
I've learned a bit about Nadiia from my teacher's (her mother) stories. Later, about a year ago I saw her on Instagram while looking through the mail of the company I worked in, and the girl`s surname and appearance seemed familiar to me. And later she wrote to me personally and asked for shooting a set. Of course I was happy! I told her that I knew her a bit when we met. Nadiia loved foxes, so I presented her a funny fox-like textile cushion, just as a sign of me being glad to see her finally and to rise the girls' mood. Of course she liked the present. The set wasn't complicated if to talk about the preparing, and went on in a rather positive way. Here is also the first preview pictures of it I have depicted on my Instagram profile:
Nadiia appeared as a white flower fairy with petals on her collarbones and cheek. And here is a diptych I, maybe, liked most of all from the set, as the focus play has become one of my favorite themes recently:
You know, the photography for me is not just the way to capture the moment quickly, it's also the kind of painting with a usage of the things which exist already or can come out as a result of mixing them. And making photos with young girls is quite interesting also because of the constant innocence spirit which comes along with their "painting-look-like" appearance. Nadia's curles, big eyes, gentle smile and some gestures on the next shot reminds me of Leonardo da Vinci's male model on some of his artworks:
Both of us left satisfied with the results (their amount is a bit bigger than I have depicted there, however I don't like to show everything at once). Of course I see my personal mistakes even where someone may see the nice result, but I understand clearly that the perfection is a Truth a man can only come closer to instead of reaching it totally, and the ability to see the mistakes or weak sides is the approval to understanding that one can learn and become more skilled during the whole life. But I am glad I can do something that is nice to someone else, not only for myself. And I'll keep developing myself for better results.
