I bought new underwear today. Also got a new bed--don't actually get that until next Wednesday. New sheets for the bigger bed, vanilla-cream colored. Need a new blanket. Then I just need someone to break it in with.
Bought The Velvet Underground And Nico, and Holly Williams (sister of Shelton, daughter of Hank II and granddaughter of the great one). That family's just got it going on. Now watching Faraway, So Close. It's a Lou Reed kind of day, I guess, minus the glam.
My hair is dark-dark brown again. Almost black. I missed dark hair. It suits me. I don't know why I try to have it any other way, aside from, as N. commented, that I can't keep anything the same for very long. He thinks he's got me figured out, but he's wrong.
I spend far too much time waiting for phone calls, then realizing that I'm tired and need to stay the hell home anyway. I am not really stoked on the idea of a bad reggae band in any case. I feel the need to get out more, but am not really excited by any of the prospects for going out.
Had a Bruce Springsteen moment in Bed, Bath & Beyond today. Which band or artist that you occasionally hear piped into stores will make you stop and sing along? Mine's always Bruce and the Stones--who were playing at the cafe while I ate breakfast and drank mint tea.

Breaking in new sheets is always fun! Its even better if you can go on a long dirty bike ride with that person too!!
