I am so crazy-crushing on this guy. Unfortunately, he's a band guy who lives in Memphis and is on tour constantly. Then again, having a fantasy crush that I get to see on a semi-regular basis and chat with and drink with isn't a bad thing. Ben, you are delicious. Why haven't all of you people gone out and bought Lucero CD's yet? There's a song of theirs on the new Atticus compilation, so you can listen to your Death Cab or Street Dogs and still check out the wonderful that is Lucero. Really. I'm not just saying that because I lust after their singer.

This guy is pretty effing cool too. Even if he is a Yankees fan.

So the boy and I are now officially just friends. And I think I'm cool with it. More sex would be nice, yes, but oh well--I would eat him alive, and he can't deal with the pressure. So now I get to be his buddy who hassles him to get serious about his band. And I have burgeoning record label connections....

Did I mention fuckin' Lucero? I thought so.
