Will anyone who's mastered this damn new layout tell me how to get to that "see friends page" setup? I cannot at all deal with having to go to everyone's page individually to see if they've updated. this is crap. I am paying way too much money for this damn site to have the only feature I even use anymore disappear.

If you click on the home button right under your name at the top it brings up friends and bookmarked journals.
