still have absolutely no idea what is going on in my life. but I've ordered some books by some fucking geniuses on writing for comics, and I am not going to slack on making art because I'm stuck in the fucking south. no excuses and no regrets, eh?
I have a tattoo appointment wednesday. COLOR. stoked. I feel like by doing this I'm crossing some other more significant line than just getting tattooed, and soon I'll be sleeved. doesn't help that the man in my life has a gorgeous sleeve done by the guy who does my work. plus I love all the guys at the shop (Anonymous Tattoo in Savannah) and I enjoy hanging out there enough watching them beat each other with rolled-up magazines and other such things that boys do when they're sitting around together bored.
Just about everything I do these days ends up with me absolutely surrounded by men. I work at a bike shop, go to kickboxing at a gym full of guys, hang out with the guy and his roommates, and when I go to Savannah, I go to the tattoo shop and the comic shop. Oh, and writing for this place doesn't help the testosterone overload, either.
So I'm going to go spend some girly time with my friend Jill, just returned from a semester in Spain. I also bought myself some rockin' makeup from Pure Luxe. Because I deserve it.
If you haven't read it, The God Of Small Things by Arundhati Roy is a beautiful, beautiful book.

You are dangling around the "great rack" comments to the team like fresh meat to the lions.
