1. I am currently procrastinating, watching hockey and doing this.
2. I am a hopeless romantic. I had an off-and-on relationship with my first love for several years, and remained convinced until recently that he was the only one for me. Recently, I have started to rethink how I feel about love.
3. I did not lose my virginity until I was nearly nineteen. The guy doesn't know that it was my first time. I talked about sex so openly that nobody believed that I was a virgin.
4. I have this horrible habit of getting involved with people by being their shoulder to cry on. While this is a good way for your relationship to end up, it is not a great way for it to start.
5. I have been in love twice. The rest of the times, I was hooked on the drama.
6. I went to college in New Orleans. First Tulane for two years, then I transferred to Loyola, which was one of the best things I ever did. I loved all of my professors there, and learned far more.
7. Les Miserables is my favorite book ever. I read it for the first time when I was nine on a bet from my grandparents. (No, not in French. I will do that someday) I have a phrase from it tattooed on my back. If you want to understand me, read that book. Really read it.
8. I love hats, gloves, scarves, belts, and other such accessories that mostly get ignored. I don't wear much jewelry, however.
9. My new tattoos are itchy as fuck.
10. I have a fabulous network of friends scattered across the country. Some of you are among them. (You know who you are). It keeps me from going absolutely crazy living on this island mostly alone.
11. My friends list is made up of people I've met in real life, people I want to help me take over the world, and people I've got crushes on. Which one are you? (Note: you could be more than one)
12. I have only recently become very close to my sister. She was the first person I wanted to talk to with my recent mess. It's a great thing.
13. I have a 9-year-old black cat. He's a Scottish fold. His name is Doc Holliday. I rescued him from New Orleans goths who'd named him Armand. I will not have a cat called Armand.
14. I used to live on the same street as Anne Rice.
15. I love making boys blush. If you are male and I can make you turn six shades of red, I may want to make out with you.
16. I firmly believe that kissing is the best thing in the world. I have done some really great kissing in the past 6 months, with two different people. So life can't be all bad.
17. I have pretty much become sober. I'll still have a beer or two, but the idea of getting drunk doesn't hold much appeal to me.
18. I am not as terrified of children as I was six months ago.
19. My sister and I are planning to start/buy a business. Retail. Clothing. A little rock'n'roll boutique in Philly. Maybe sell some skateboards and bikes too if we feel cocky. She also plans to run a photo studio. We don't think small. We probably will start small, though.
20. I spend way too much time sitting around here with this computer on my lap and the NHL package or Six Feet Under or a movie on my TV. A life, sometime in the not-so-distant future would be nice. Have to show off this ass and legs from kickboxing somehow.

I just went out to a gym today where I will hopefully be able to mix between weight training and martials arts on my own while I get back into shape. If I get into MassART, I will start going there and if I can manage it time-wise, I really want to train in Muay Thai still.
One night in New York City my girl friend
and I were haul assing down Third toward
her place, and right about 8th Street,
in the often closed old theatre which has been there forever we saw A NEW ORLEANS MUSICAL,
featuring Alan Toussaint, and his Band.
I told the cab to stop, the girl friend to trust me,
and when and got boogied down to the seat of our pants.
Afterwards we even waited outside the dressing rooms,
and got everybody's autograph. Of course there will
be always a New Orleans because it's all zombie stomp stuff anyway. You can't kill, you say well, the already dead. I've heard all of these great stories about Booker,
particularly about his love affair with Little Richard, how
they would ride around in an open convertible screaming
"faggots in love," "faggots in love." I think the saddest thing I have ever seem was Dr. John's eyes on that great
television tribute not that many years ago. A lot of great
Suicide Girls, otherwise known as bright, intelligent, good
looking youngish women in the general radius of Philadelphia. I'm starting to chant go Aoife go, when it
comes to getting you off that island, away from a one or
two boy choice, and into a big bang community like Philly.
I also liked the place as the papers there, and the radio,
really gave me great support for some of Irish American
oriented publications. I have four different publishing fields, each of which is dominated by more nutcakes than
the other. I am a published journalist on the subject of
the death of jfk; an academy of the american arts award
winning poet; a pioneering scholar in the new field of Irish
American studies; and an Art Spiegelman trained comic
strip author, and editor and scholar. At any given time I
could be earning no money from all four, throwing in the
courses I teach in each at local colleges. Just lucky, I
guess. Swim for shore. Robert O.
