i hadn't realized how long it had been since i'd genuinely talked to people until recently. talking was always one of my favorite pastimes, staying up until the sun peeked out, talking about the most random things under the sun. agreeing, disagreeing, laughing, being solemn, sharing experiences, sharing lives. it's all very hallmark, but for some reason it's a part of life that society seems to be dismissing as too much effort for too little instant gratification.
i love old movies. back when movies had to be dialogue driven, they made you feel emotions. lots of them. now everything is sorted into "drama", "comedy", "action", "retard midget porn". not that i have anything against those, but it makes everything bite size. how do you categorize a movie like The Moon is Blue? Should it go directly into Drama or Comedy, or should the fact that it toys with all of your emotions drop it directly into retard midget porn?
but that genre is just my catch-all. i ended up labelling half my movies that. it's surprising how many more people want to watch my dvd collection now.

The lp is nearly done to be honest. All I have to do when I get back is arrange the tunes, add a few samples here and there, and make some transitional tracks. I do appreciate the offer though. And I'll be sure to get you off a copy of it once it's done.
