I'm doing okay. I know it's all probably for the best, and I know I'll survive, so sitting around feeling sad all the time will help no one. That doesn't mean there aren't plenty of tears on occasion, but I'm functional.

I'm still living with Peter, until I find a new place. And we're still being friendly, and hanging out, and going to dinner, and sleeping together (although that's usually just what it is, sleeping). We even talked over dinner last night about the various considerations of reentering the sex pool. We're such freaks. Hell, last week he bought me an iPod. But he still says he doesn't love me, and we're still getting divorced. Whatever. I got an iPod.

Today I have 2 job interviews (Oh, 'cause I got laid off, too. I think I forgot to mention that) and am looking at at least 3 apartments (hopefully with my future roommate miffy. You're so jealous of me). Wish me luck. The sooner I can get on with my life, the better, I figure. I especially want to secure a job, so I can go ahead and plan my vacation this summer. Because I deserve a vacation, dammit.
