Its 10:43 am and i dont have to work until 4pm.......SHIT! I hate 4 pm shifts! They just suck the energy out of your entire day! Yea you get to party the night before, but who really parties on a Wednesday night? I would have no one to party with because all my friends have to work in the morning, not to mention i quit drinking beer for a while. I tried to sleep in today but 10:15 came around and i was awake against my control. I HATE 4pm shifts. I use to work them all the time at my last job, they are the main reason i used to smoke soo much. Id have nothing to do all day before i went to work so i would just sit there and smoke.
A nice random guy tried to pick me up at the gym last night, i say nice because he seemed nice. He came up to me, im wearing my head phones and ignoring everything around me, and he tries to get my attention. I take out my left head phone sense my left ear is my good ear, and he say "You look like you have some strong legs, do you work out here often?" With heavy sexual undertone. I just was like "Yea im here about 5 days a week now" and then walked away. Im not going to be rude and i dont mind if people take a chance and try to use a line on me, but honestly, at the gym? I mean i had not seen this guy before he approached me, we never made eye contact from across the gym, we shared no smiles, none of the usual signals you pick up on that someone is interested. So why do you approach someone, especially at a heavily mixed sexual orientation place like the gym, and take a chance that a fellow male is gay? It may be Portland Oregon, but if he said that to the wrong person he could have gotten hurt, it just isnt a safe risk to take. Plus he wasnt cute enough to use that line on me. lol
