Okay, so I guess I am going to keep coming back. I do love the beautiful people on this site. Those that are beautiful in appearance and self.
Minor update, spend Saturday volunteering, cleaning up Westwood. O' no, I just gave away what school I am associated with. Who gives a shit? Anyway, it is this give back to the community for supporting us sort of day. We had about 600 students, staff, and faculty. Mostly students, which is a good thing for the student body, and the community to see students help clean up. I got this little old lady named Roxanne as a team leader, and she was out of control hilarious. We of course got assigned to North Village, which is Frat side of the village. i.e. the dirties since this is were the parties are at. They send anyone in the greek system there, I guess that is fair. Most the rest of Westwood is super clean anyway. If you are not aware, Westwood is imbedded in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, and Brentwood. Needless to say, the area is really clean. We paint lamp posts, curbs, and the such. Not like when we go into south central.
All that would have been fun if I had gotten any sleep in the week leading up to.
Lets see....
I am currently supposed to be writing a paper related to Spinoza right now, but I don't seem to be motivated to do so.
That is all that is going on in my boring, academic life. Nothing new and special. Living my days out in the ivory tower. Not sure how I feel about this, but I do feel privileged to have this life.
There are days I miss the other life. Music, tours, hot ass sweaty busses, being up all night breaking down. The crazy ass shit, the women, even the lack of a regular/dependable shower schedule.
Then I remind myself that something intellectual was missing, and that I why I changed gears. Perhaps someday the two will live out fully within me.
Beans and Rice,
Anticool.
