I got a comment on my last entry that kind of ticks me off, and I just want to set the record straight here:
When I post something that makes me happy, be happy for me. While some people gave me a heads up about something to happen, there was a quick appology if it offended me, which it didn't and I thanked that person for warning me.
Now, to make a comment along the lines of "do i even want to know how you're getting that new car? and if it was your choice... WHY THAT!?", to me at least, it's very very harsh, especially if you don't know the whole story. Well, you're going to get the whole story now as that comment has just set me off!
I have a 2002 Windstar and the lease is up in a few weeks. I also don't live at home so having a car so I can get around is very convinient. The van was going to be replaced anyways, but the car that was going to be leased next hadn't been decided yet. My dad decided this past weekend that he was going to lease me and my sister each a 2005 Ford Focus of our choice. Now, that is a big chunk of change to put down and I am very very grateful for this present. I also consider myself to be very lucky because I know that not all people will have the opportunity to be presented with a present like this.
In the future, don't make nasty comments like that- you aren't looking too good in my books right now. You know who you are and everyone could go back in my last entry to find out who you are. And to clear things up if this comes up: I am not a spoiled rotten brat; I work my ass off making my own money to live on my own, put gas in my vehicle and maintain it and to buy anything else I need. My parents will help me out if needed, but I rely on myself as much as I need to.
End of my rant. This is NOT how I wanted to start my day

Anyway here a good reason set for a Ford is that they'ew reliable, well-priced and most garages can cope with them for a problem or a service. Also the insurance is in a much lower price bracket so that's why you see a lot of 'em here.
your dad is awesome!
that to me shows a lot of support from his part.
he is really awesome. There aren't that many awesome dads around, so treasure him.
what color is the car going to be?
take care, and i am happy for you.
