Alright, time for the last two days of my journey to London. If you missed them, go back a few entries. I'll be posting that reminder I think in my next few entries, mostly because I am a show off (I can't help it!), but everyone wanted to be able to read my experiences. Don't forget to look at the pictures!

This day was set aside right from when we arrived in London to see Hampton Court (home of King Henry VIII) as my dad had more meetings to go on this day and didn't want my sister and I hanging around the flat. My dad's driver (well, the one that drive's him out to his meetings and to the airport and what not) took my sister and I to Windsor, but we had to be ready to go for 9:30 in the morning. That, of course, meant getting up at 8:00 so both of us could take showers, get ready and what not. Sure enough, right at 9:30, John buzzed the flat and it was time for our journey to begin.
The weather reports weren't promising good weather for the day and it was evident right from the get go; when we left, it was snowing a little bit and just barely above zero. John also showed us a picture he took on his digital camera of the show falling and staying on large trees in the country side. Even though I'm used to seeing such things in Calgary, it was shocking to see it just outside of London. I was worried that our day trip was going to be impacted by the weather.
When we got to Hampton Court (roughly an hour or so of driving), we asked John if he wanted to come with us, but politely declined as he had to get up early to drive someone to the airport and he wanted to take a nap. Once my sister and I paid for our tickets, we headed inside this amazing palace (I can't really think of a better word for it). We were going to take the tour, but it wasn't going to leave for another 10 min after we arrived. My sister and I agreed that it was too cold to wait so we started to wander around on our own. We went through the state rooms, the chapel and many many other places. My sister and I would always end up getting lost, ending back at the fountain in the center courtyard. Somehow, we ended up seeing everything. When we were in the chapel, we ran into a group of school kids coming in from France. I could have killed them though because they were speaking loudly and EATING in the chapel (which is still used for services). I felt really bad for the chaplains who were trying to tell them to stop but were unsuccessful. Oh well.
Once we were done at Hampton Court, we headed into Windsor- first, we needed to eat. John graceously accepted our invitation to come to lunch with us [Royal Oak for my UK fanbase] (at yet another pub) so we had some entertainment. After we ate our lunch of fish and chips, we enlightened John on Canadian currency. Next time for Windsor Castle.
I wish I had more to say about Windsor Castle, but I don't. While the rooms in the Queen's residence were amazing, there is only so far you can go. Plus, it was so ridiculously cold out that there wasn't a whole lot to see in terms of the Queen's private garden. I guess for my Windsor Castle, take a look at my pictures.
I would post dinner, but frankly, I wish I could forget about it. I will say that I had dinner at Montpelliano, and that's it. I'll post about Friday later. I'm tired, I have to work early tomorrow and I'm upset right now.
I've relapsed in my recovery from my anxiety disorder- my panic attacks are back, which means I'm back to being about as depressed as I was at the beginning of January. Knowing that you've fucked yourself over for the rest of your life is a wonderful feeling. At this point, I don't think I'll be getting off of my anti-depressants/anti-anxiety medication.

Although it may seem like it you have not f*d yourself over for a lifetime. I dropped right out of college with similar stuff and though that was the end of it but I got back and got through and there was sunshine on the other side. It's a bit Nietsche but once you know what the tough stuff is like then it does make you more durable even little ol' fragile me.
So have a *hug* and have faith in what I say 'cos you're not the only one who's lived it, you're not on your own, ok?
I hope you feel better.
