Alright, second installment of my trip to London now that I've had time to sit down and write about it. If you didn't read the first few days, go back one entry.

Tuesday
Alright, Tuesday was the day that I wanted to go up and see the Tower of London. Unfortunately, this was the main attraction for the day as my dad let me and my sister sleep until 11:00 in the morning (I know! Insanity). After having a very late breakfast (of some yummy clementine oranges, bananas and yogurt), we took a black cab to the Tower of London.
The Tower of London is one of my favourite places to see in London. Despite the heavy snow, I had a wonderful time. Our Yeoman was quite the character and filled my mind with a lot more history of the Tower that I didn't have before. Things, such as, there will forever be ravens at the Tower and if they were to ever leave, the Tower would collapse (or something to that effect). Once the tour ended, the first place I wanted to see was the building where the Crown Jewels were being held. Oh my God, I have never seen so much gold, silver, and precious jewels all in one place. Some of the things that stand out in my mind are the world's largest diamond which is in a scepter, a punch bowl that looked like a small fountain (you should have seen the ladle for it), Queen Elizabeth II's stole from her inaugeration as Queen and many many many crowns that looked very similar but spectacular none the less.
Surprisingly, we spent a lot of time at the Tower and we then headed back to the flat. My dad had a few calls to make for business stuff, so my sister and I hung around the flat. I made a trip down to Waitrose again because we already drank all the juice that we had bought on Sunday. For dinner, we went to an amazing Lebanese restaurant called The Ishbalia where I had the most amazing Shish Taouk and various other Lebanese dishes. For dessert, I was quite happy to have the fresh fruit (pineapple and melons) and baklava. I heart baklava so much! We grabbed the left over Shisk Taouk and headed back to the flat where I weant straight to bed because I was just exhausted- changing that many time zones sucks major ass!
Wednesday
Finally, the day where my sister and I could roam around London was upon us! My dad got her and I up before he left to go to some meetings (he didn't want us to spend the day hanging around the apartment) so I enjoyed my usual breakfast of clementine oranges, strawberries and raspberries. After we ate and showered, we headed out to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Now, I bet you're thinking "why the hell would you waste your time going to a wax museum?" Well, boys and girls, this museum has been around for many many years and they have wax models of current celebrities. So, I took some pictures of Simon Cowell (*love*), Sarah Michelle Gellar (for my boyfriend and room mate), my sister looking up a wax model's kilt (she has this kilted man fetish and Madame Tussaud's delivered, I think unintentionally), and many many more. Madame Tussaud's also has this whole live action serial killer display, but it wasn't as scary as my mom said it was. Granted, I didn't have anyone chase me around with a toothbrush.
After Madame Tussaud's, my sister and I grabbed lunch and hopped a taxi to The British Museum. I was relieved to find out that admission to TBM was free because I was still recovering after spending 21.99 to get into Madame Tussauds. The one exhibit I really wanted to see was The Parthenon Exhibit. After taking so much mythology, I actually wanted to see the Parthenon where Athena was worshipped. Of course, while TBM has many pieces, they don't have completed pieces of what is left of the arcitecture as other museums have taken them as well. I also wanted to see the Mesopotamian exhibit, but it was roped off for repairs and cleaning (I suppose at least). Unfortunately, I didn't want to see a whole lot more as I had already seen an exhibit on Egypt in Calgary so I didn't see the need to see it again. Once my sister and I got home, we got dinner ready for us and our dad as we were going to see We Will Rock You, the Queen musical.
We Will Rock You is set many years into the future where all music is computer generated and there is no originality. There is a small group of Bohemians looking to find the sacred instruments of music (musical instruments) to create their own, unique music. If you live in the London area or planning to go there, get tickets to see this. Even if you're just a tiny Queen fan, you will love this- if my dad liked it, you'll definately like it. I got myself a Queen t-shirt afterwards, which just rocks my socks I made the mistake, however, to wear my brown pumps that I got at Christmas to the performance. Of course, once the musical is out, a whole bunch of people want to grab a cap to head back to their places. Well, inorder for us to find a cab that would drive us back, my dad, sister and I walked for five fucking blocks! Yes, I walked for five blocks in pumps. My feet have never been in so much pain before. We didn't end up going for dinner in the end as it was 10:30 at night and we were all tired. Plus, we had all eaten before heading to the theater (The Dominion Theater for all of those interested).
Alright, the next few days I will post later.

I have been to the Dominion though :-
1) Star Wars in 70mm and quadrophonic dolby
2) The musical Notre Dame de Paris
3) something else with the in-laws but the experience of being with them does tend to obliterate the entire event...
Yeah and I've done the cab thing too trying to get the i-laws into one after asking them politely to stay as a group they diperse in polar opposite directions making it infinitely more difficult.
Anyway you got good value for money it seems. Covent Garden is good but now lost some of its charm as rent hikes have removed some of the more interesting places like the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre (who've gone to Southend). Street enertainment there is excellent though.
Sorry about the Mounties being shot to death in Alberta.
