Well, it's Sunday. And, if you remember from my previous entry, what did I promise I would do on Sunday?
Update!
1. So, my parents are home and I'm back home sitting on my couch, waiting to go to sleep in my own bed. Taking care of their dog is exhasting because he is almost one year old and still full of energy. He was up at 6:00 every morning, which meant I had to get up and let him out of his crate. I was supposed to take him for a walk every morning, but he would fall asleep again within 20 minutes of getting out and having a drink of water. I would come home from work and doze on the couch for a few hours because I was too tired to do anything else- I didn't play WoW at all this week! I got a good payout from my parents for taking care of the dog, including a bracelet from Hermes (I guess this is a well known designer jewellry/clothing company in Paris, but that's news to me), stuff from Lush and a Yves St. Laurent "purse charm" that has eye shadow, lipstick and lip gloss in it. Not too bad.
2. Work was intense last week, and I spent a good chunk of the time doubting whether or not I actually should be working for this company as I'm barely qualified to do the job (I'm not even studying in this particular field!). However, I think they are impressed with my progress and was told by the office manager on Friday that I was doing good work. This was the first comment I've gotten from him since I started working there, so it does mean something. If I was truly terrible, I think they would have laid me off two weeks ago. I'm also learning AutoCAD commands that I've never had to use before, which is making completing my drawings faster. Polylines are my new bestfriend.
3. I got some interesting news on Friday: my ex is now "seeing" a girl that he works with at a camping supply store. I'm happy for him and for myself as I'll no longer be having the "at least you have a boyfriend" coversations for awhile.
4. Speaking of the boyfriend, things are going really well for us. It's almost strange, because it just happened out of no where with how lovie-duive he's been as of late. I'm not complaining as it makes me the center of attention almost all the time, but I can't help but wonder "where did THAT come from?" I'm going to ask him if during the summer, while I'm roommate-less, if he wants to spend a few days at the apartment. Not necessarily move in, but maybe see if we can stand living with eachother for a few days. It should prove to be interesting. At this point, we'll just see how things go.
5. Apparently the kitchen sink at the apartment started to back flow yesterday. Not good.
6. I've decided that from July 10-16, I am going to go vegan. Why am I doing this? As a means to challenge myself as I don't always follow through with goals that I set out for myself. I'm quite excited about it, but I am already feeling apprehensive about it. The reason why I'm not doing this right away is because I want to make sure I know what I'm doing in terms of cooking, supplements, and know what I can eat and what I can't. We'll see how that goes.
I'm tired. I going to go lounge for a bit until I need to go to bed. I'm hoping a good nights sleep tonight.

Out of luck with the camera... shit happens. Back to 35mm then.
I would like a couple of cats but will have to wait a while until I move somewhere were I can have them. Those pics are about 13 years old - a former landlord's kittens; but I've only recently begun scanning them, & other old photo's onto my computer. Kittens are endless fun - spent ages photographing them.
What you said about the dog falling again instead going for his walk reminded me a bit of our dog when I lived at home. I would take her for walks across the fields and if she considered that she had gone far enough I would look around and she would be heading home on her own

That's good stuff on the work front, I've spent my whole working life doing stuff other than that I qualified in so that's par for the course really, if you're adaptable you'll get lots more Lush and Hermes and maybe more.
Just enjoy the luvvie-duvvieness, there isn't always a sub-plot
