i just got out of court for the trial of my ex-girlfriend. she stole over $3,000 worth of stuff from this girls house. some of the things were a PS3, an SLR digital camera, and about $300 in cash. now, i had to sit through everyone else cases, which was about a hour and a half long. mind you i'm only there as a witness. then her case comes up and i never get called to the stand. the state prosecutor only asked that she pay $250 to the family of the victim. which i think is bullshit! shes getting off easy and the families insurance has to pay for everything.
