The Sturgis pics are finally processed (courtesy of tmronin), but the day-by-day chronicles of our adventure will just have to wait a little bit more since I can't pass up the chance to let you in on the complete awesomeness that you may have missed! First off, huge kudos go out to the beautiful Bailey for setting up the grand shindig that was Suicide Saturday last weekend. She put in an extraordinary amount of time and effort and made the night a huge success, so go give her some .
The weekend started out with a ride to NYC to pick up tmronin followed by a drive to god-knows-where CT for some vehicle shuffling. We finally arrived in MA for the housewarming party at Lexie, gnilkruM and Palo's new place. All I can say is Palo is sooo cute when she's drunk. (For those that don't know her, she's probably going to kill me for calling her cute, so I just had to say it! ) And gnilkruM: 6 more feet, man, 6 more feet. Anyway, the night ended somewhere around 4am after a good time was had by all.
The next morning began with tmronin heading out to retrieve the car which was parked somewhere in the next county. I knew it wasn't going to be an auspicious start to the day when I heard the apartment buzzer and looked out the window to see no car. Yep, it got towed. After Derceto was kind enough to drive us all over hell to get it back (Thanks!!!), and $110 later, we finally headed off for the next phase of our TeamRockstar adventure... in typical fashion, which is to say, extraordinarily late! That phase... a photoshoot with the ever amazing Alexsandria at the beautifully decorated home of her friend! You'll just have to wait for that.
Then we headed off with Alexsandria in tow to RI for a shoot with Fatality and Salome. I didn't get to chat much with either of them, as I was busy playing hall monitor to keep the maintenence guys out of the area but for those who haven't met her, Salome is a real card and a blast to be around. Mucho to both of them for putting up with our lateness and being so great to work with! (You'll just have to wait to see this bit of awesomeness, too! )
Next, it was off to the main event! Before the doors opened came the shoot inside the club with Poppy. Let me tell you, this is one laid back lady and a great person to have as a friend when you really need one (you know what I'm talking about ). Shortly after we finished up, Suicide Saturday had begun, with more SG's than you could shake a stick at. I'm serious, there's no way I could remember them all so apologies to everyone who took part that I can't remember to mention. The show was fantastic and the night was crazy and everyone had a blast! It was great getting to hang with Kyra and Sid again and to meet some great new people. Gotta also mention hearing from MaryAnn how much she appreciates the work TeamRockstar has done. That's what we're here for, but it was great to hear. Well, the night eventually came to a close and the aftershoot that was supposed to happen with Madeleine and Granny didn't until the next day, so we finally checked in to the hotel with Madeleine and Meros1 for a much needed few hours of zzzzzz's.
Sunday began by the four of us catching up with Granny for the shoot that didn't happen the night before. I won't tell you anything about this one except to say that you're going to love it! Between Madeleine and Granny and the setting and props... and you'll just have to wait!
We finally finished around 6 and began the long journey home... made much longer courtesy of torrential downpours and 2 feet of standing water on I-95 in CT. It was enough to almost make me feel sorry for the guy in the Ferrari behind me. I'm so glad I drive a truck. 8.5 hours for a 5.5 hour drive really sucked, but not half as bad as work the next day. You can imagine what I was worth after a weekend like that.
All in all, though, it was a fantastic weekend! If you missed it, better luck next time, but if you were there, you know what I'm talking about! It was great hanging with old friends and making new ones, and I look forward to future adventures with all of you !!!

hey, I missed getting to see you! Steve sprayed me with Pam and we forgot about the theme halfway through the shoot. We also ended up at the airport 3 times when he was trying to drive me home. It was certainly a crazy day. Steve ttold me a little but I guess I'll have to wait for your journal entry to read more about it. I hope everything is going well!
