So this weekend is off to a blazing start. Last night after a "cultural extravaganza" I had to attend for a couple classes (it was Gustav Klimt's "Beethoven Frieze" set to Brahms) I went to get something to eat. When I was handed my change from the drive up, I tried to roll my window up. No luck. And it's still that way today. My goddamn driverside window is stuck all the way down in my door. Good thing this happened on Friday night, because you know, most import mechanics call it quits on Fridays at 5 pm. I know this, I'll never buy a German car again.
Umm, I guess it's been a while since I had an update. Nothing exciting happens...just going to school and reading. I really don't like my Latin American History class. The content is good and I find myself reading that book more than the others, but there's just something about writing two page essays every fucking week that's already a drain on me. In other scholastic news, I got a 93% on my first History 340 quiz. I'm pretty stoked seeing as I didn't even study for that. Most times, Prof. Drake telegraphs his quizzes from a mile away but this time around I was too lazy to flip through my notes.
The other day in Drake's class, after most of the class had filed out, this girl sitting behind me introduced herself to me. Her name is Courtney, she said, and that she has seen me on the bus and in Islamic Civ. It was pretty left as that, but the past few days we've exchanged greetings with each other in class. Then last night, I saw her on the way out of the concert/art expo and we again exchanged a brief conversation. Good times.
Time to clean my room and call some mechanics.

most stuff like that isnt all that hard just can be a pain in the ass.
you should hit up a local checker or autozone or some small parts store and get a book on your car and try and do some of that stuff yourself. save you a ton of cash.
thats pretty much what i do. i am also going to school for this stuff.
i always wondered what it'd be like to live in a dorm like you are doing.
