So call me crazy, but I really look for intelligence when it comes to ladies. I mean, can I really enjoy just sitting down talking to a complete idiot? Can I really try to enlighten her with my own intellect when she herself barely possesses that wonderful gift? Case in point, I think Jaleen is an idiot, scholastically speaking. She's in my Humanities class and the past two days of workshopping each others' research papers, I finally got around to hers because she likes to not attend class.
I nearly threw up after reading the first paragraph. First of all, it's copied ver batum from her friend, Natasha's paper. After that it only gets worse. I try my best in formal writing to not have the same adjectives in the same paragraph, let alone the same sentence: Jaleen did that. Oh God it's just a horrible paper. How am I supposed to workshop this piece of crap? I'm thinking all I really have to do is write on the last page, "This isn't good, at all. I can help you out BIG time so you don't fail this class."
All this brings me to a rather important decision: should I really try to make something come of this? Obviously I pine over not having a girlfriend and Jaleen is pretty attractive, but she also strikes me as pretty dimwitted. I guess I can be a good influence on her, but shit, I don't even know her except that this paper is horrible and I hope it doesn't reflect what kind of person she is. Wow, that sounds lame and shallow, but hey, I wants some brains with my ladies.
So, that's it, bad post but that's what is plaguing me right now. Any advice?

Just know, from my experience, playing humanitarian isn't going to get you anywhere. If they truly want to change, they'll make an honest effort to do so. If not, they're not worth your time and effort. It sucks balls being a "parent" in a relationship. A real relationship is where you both know better and don't have to criticize each other (however so subtle you two go about it) for change.
