I was interested in these two films, especially The Host, as it looks crazy awesome. I haven't actually seen much interesting stuff recently, there hasn't been much out. I missed District 13 in the cinema, which pisses me off hugely, and there's a DVD at HMV at the moment about the army going abck in time to fight Samurais that just looks too crazy to pass up, can't remember the name though. Something like Samurai Commando.

Well i got a TINY advance (tiny by MY standards anyway considering it was 144 pages) and the rest was based on royalties. Now the middle man is gone and bankrupt, the royalties that puffin are making on the book have nowhere to go and i probably lost out on the first lot anyway. American bankruptcies are a pain to get involved in
