Tonight I had a series of small plans. little things to make the evening go by in a lovely manner. A yoga class, dinner with a friend moving away, making corn bread.
But...I have that feeling of needing to be in the cabin alone, with music. memories. nostalgia. writing letters. finally calling my poor neglected mother. Too many lovers, too much work, too little time, too many late nights.
You know when life moves so fast that suddenly you stop and it all rams into you. smacking you upside the head and forcing you to take a moment for yourself.
Maybe on second thought I will make the cornbread.

Definitely need to have personal time where NOTHING is scheduled. I'm the same, get super busy with the day to day tasks and everything else I put on myself until I have to come to a stopping point and take a breather. Quiet nights home alone are sometimes the most invigorating AND restful thing to have. Hope those nights go well for you.
